long before the duo went on to form pasteboard, the two formed roly poly rag bear in 1999. inspired by bands like teenage fanclub and BMX bandits, the duo went on to release 4 albums throughout their career before putting both roly poly rag bear and pasteboard on hiatus in late 2010. "straw, water, pinstripe" is now available 20 years after it's initial release in honor of the anniversary.
